Let me introduce myself...
Hello, my name is James Forbes. My "story" is very short. Forefront is a project I have created to fulfil my desire to be creative.
Drawing and designing is a passion of mine from a young age. When I was younger I loved video games and game consoles. Like most 8 year olds, I was convinced I had the solution to improve the video gaming industry. From this idea I started drawing and designing my own video game consoles. Although my design were ambitious (requiring lasers and virtual reality headsets) I loved the process of designing which led me to do graphic design at A-Level.
As I was an 8 year-old kid I didn't have the resources to make my ideas into a reality. I'm older now and do have the resources to start turning some of my ideas into a reality. This is where the Forefront project comes in.
The Idea
This part is simple, the mission was to design clothing that have a timeless look and feel whilst having a unique aspect. Clothing that is easy to style together and works with any wardrobe whilst making the individual stand-out and receive comments like "wow, where did you get that from?” That's the idea, the process however has proven to be a lot harder. Forefront has been built behind the scenes for over a year now. During this time all measures have been taking place to make sure everything works out smoothly.
The Future
Hopefully this project turns into something bigger as time goes by and hopefully expands the range of clothing. I would also love to work with creative people from different industries and help others get their ideas at the forefront.
